“Fathering” methods from a newly minted father:
If you need to work on a laptop and feed your baby at the same time:
To achieve the above, use a special contoured pillow. A closer look (one hand is freed up to do your work!):
To catch up on your sleep, sleep when baby sleeps (avoid treacherous positions though!):
Last but not least, to make sure your baby doesn’t forget you when you go on a long business trip, do the maori :):
Xi En is finally discharged and back home with us after 2 months long stay at KKH. 🙂
The joy is shared with the grandparents who have been waiting to carry their first grandson in their hands.
Happy to be home! 🙂
p.s: Thank you all aunties and uncles who have been praying with us for Xi En! Your prayers are heard! 🙂
Ok… still on the topic of food!! 🙂
2 days back, Kim came back with a mountain of food from JB pasar malam. Have been nagging to him everyday that I want to eat putu piring. We searched at Haig Rd a few weeks back but couldn’t find it. So… he decided to buy them back from JB!! haa…
Not only that, he went and bought tons of other food that are my fav! 🙂
carrot cake that is wrapped in newspapers! A bit sweet, a bit salty; Not quite my taste - but Kim loves it. Said he grew up eating it this way!
Chinese pancake (fillings: sweet corn and peanuts , pulut hitam and coconut). Steamed chick peas in the clear bag; those are big and yummy!
putu piring (but they are made of yellow-colored flour;different from Singer style); I prefer the Indon-style type on the right. There is a stall in chinatown that sells this wonderful treats too!
And so… in summary: we had – putu piring, chinese pancakes, carrot cake, bak zhang, chick peas and tau huay!! More than I asked for! Was good, just somewhat different style as sing’s style. I had more than I asked for. 🙂 Oh, did I said that the Tau Huay is even better than Rocher’s!
